My 4-track cassette never suddenly vanished in the middle of doing a song. It had absolutely no latency, and it didn’t have a “scoot the track by millimeters left or right” button, because the tracks were always in perfect alignment, every single time.

Great advice, I have been outed by loads of people who (via comments) think they know acoustics (I own a acoustics consulting firm) and how to soundproof and treat a room however; Your advice is spot on and look forward to whats next. Refreshing to hear someone who understands this difficult science....

With Superior Drummer and similar drum softwares, they are randomizing the drum hits for realism and therefor often the bounces to NOT have the exact same samples played when you bounce them.... Just something some people might not have noticed It obviously doesnt matter for the production, but in a phase reversing null test, this WILL show.

Disagree with your mention of favoring the high over low.. The lower rotor is part of the entire Leslie's tone and sound. They work together. We mic the low as well and blend appropriately.

Pretty much everything you can do in S1 can be done in reaper too, and more but faster. 31:13 Reaper is not windows based btw, it supports windows, macos and linux, and it's not open source either. But yeah.

I found this company making a EARC decoder that turns EARC into either 16: AES, analogue, or DANTE as a decoder... maybe such a company would be good for a recoder option? I have a idea for mix checking and would like to connect to a Atmos soundbar. Namely the Sennheiser AMBEO Soundbar Max. The reason being, the issues of the centre channel on headphones is something to keep in mind when mixing in Atmos, these soundbar does all directions but is lacking the rear and thought this might be common in home setups... less popular than headphones, but more popular that compete Atmos setups in homes. Or is Audient going to bring out an even more killer interface soon enough?

I want a pair of these. I still can't get my head round the surround of the woofer. But I totally trust that you understand sound and have put a lot of research into their production. I'm still wondering about 10 inch versions seeing as you did a video about 10 inch woofers. When I get the money you'll hear from me.

I have started my first mix ever and also my first time using a DAW (other than making 32 bars of electronics with softsynths in Logic every now and again) in a serious way ... I have thoughts and then have to Google to see how to do it in Cubase. I've been reading and watching lots about mixing, recording techniques and how tracks are made, for about 20 years... Going to find out the difference between experience vs absorption of info with listening! If I wanted some feedback on the mix, would PDP's discord be a good place?
